Crypto Investment Ranking
Ranks crypto by category on 12–24 month 'undervalued / accumulation' attractiveness. It is not a popularity or market-cap ranking. Adoption and regulatory signals are partially reflected via on-chain active addresses (CoinMetrics), developer activity, and spot ETFs — but legal status and qualitative ecosystem factors are not in the model at all (outside the model — neither credited nor penalized). Scores are rule-based (no discretion), and a missing in-model metric lowers the score rather than being excluded from the average (missing data = cost).
⚠ Forecast validity: Unvalidated — the 'rebound / bottom' figures are in-sample conditional frequencies from past identical states, not predictions or probabilities. Not validated out-of-sample (walk-forward drift can swamp the signal); overlapping windows, survivorship bias, small samples and multiple testing all apply. Do not use as a standalone trading signal. — use rank direction, not absolute scores(details)
Adoption and regulation are partly captured via on-chain active addresses (CoinMetrics), developer activity and US spot ETFs (trading/filed). Deeper institutional data (ETF net flows, order-book depth, Nakamoto coefficient, perp net revenue) is not available for free, so we do not collect it at all. When an in-model metric is missing, the score is not rescaled to hide it — the gap lowers the score (102 of 104 coins today, median -38.4%). Rebound/bottom figures are the frequency of what followed the same past state (not a prediction); low-sample states are hidden, and only coins still listed on Binance are covered (survivorship bias). The default sort is the 7-dimension score; the combo score and frequencies are separate optional axes. Information only, not investment advice.
Method: Crypto investment ranking engine v2 (MVP) — deterministic scoring across 7 dimensions with frozen per-category weights, source-confidence (srcConf) weighting and 5 score buckets. C (adoption/dev) = on-chain active addresses (CoinMetrics) + developer activity; B (regulation) = US spot-ETF trading/filing status. Plus rebound/bottom 'frequencies' from past identical states (Binance daily bars, in-sample — not probabilities). The combo score is an optional secondary sort.
