How this list is built

Every stock is scored 0-100 by several strategies (shareholder yield, quality-value, magic formula and more) as a rank against its peers. Stocks are then ordered by the share of the strategies actually evaluated for that stock that see it as cheap. Stocks where fewer than four strategies apply are dropped — too small a sample to call it a consensus. Ties break on the overall score, and risky stocks are excluded.

Frequently asked questions

What does "undervalued" mean here?
A stock that looks cheap relative to its fundamentals — low price versus earnings, book value, cash flow, or enterprise value — compared with its peers. Cheap is not automatically good, which is why we also screen out value traps.
How is this list calculated?
Every stock is scored 0-100 by several strategies, then ranked by the share of the strategies actually evaluated for it that see it as cheap. Stocks with fewer than four evaluated strategies, and risky stocks, are dropped from this list.
How often is it updated?
Every day. Prices and fundamentals are end-of-day (not real-time), refreshed once per daily batch.
Is this investment advice?
No. Valpik provides information and data for educational purposes only. It is not investment advice, a solicitation, or a guarantee of returns. Always do your own research.
What is a value trap?
A stock that looks cheap but is cheap for a bad reason — declining earnings, negative cash flow, or losses — so it can keep falling. Our filter flags these so beginners don't chase them.
